Our story
In the early 2010s, development agencies in Singapore started to get a bad rep. Many fly-by-night agencies popped up, looking to make a quick buck by charging exorbitant fees for shoddy development work.
Due to the lack of understanding of digital technology, many businesses suffered when they engaged those unscrupulous vendors. They were left with poorly built websites and apps with no support.
Looking to make a difference, Web Imp was founded in 2014. With quality and ethics in mind, we had one simple concept: Where Ideas Meet Technology. We want to help businesses turn their ideas into reality through our technical and digital expertise.
As a startup without any financial backing or existing client base, the journey wasn’t easy for our co-founders. What they had was each others’ back, and skills which complemented each other. One has the knack and undying passion for technology; while the other has an unwavering grit to move the business forward.
By building a dedicated team, working with collaborative partners, and embracing a winner mindset, Web Imp blossomed to what it is today. We are now a full suite tech firm which works at the intersection of design, marketing, and technology – delivering impactful solutions to organizations.
